Aisling B a, born on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born on March 16, 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Bea's career began in 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after appearing in small part for Irish and British TV shows that began in 2009. The comedian began to appear regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. Following her prize from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she was a frequent guest on a variety of panel show where she is currently a regular. She was captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is an ongoing contestant on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her include Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. She is only the second ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. Bea the name she was given as her maiden name, is a tribute to her late dad. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born on March 16, 1984, from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who took his own life after Bea turned three was an suicide victim. She was told about his passing at thirteen years of age. Her stage name Bea was a tribute for her father. Bea wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey dealing with suicide. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) was raised in a home by Helen Moloney who was a instructor and trainer of jockeys who was also a professional jockey. She and her family loved horses, races and racing. Bea had a job as an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she was not interested in the racing industry. Instead, she was drawn to the artistic arts.
